Heatwave was a popular group during the late 1970s, with hits such as "Boogie Nights," "Mind Blowing Decisions," "Always and Forever," and "The Groove Line," on which Wilder sang co-lead vocals.

Brooklyn-based rapper and Anti-Pop Consortium frontman Beans, known for his fast-flowing style, considered quitting the rap game after his 2008 record, Thorns. But he thought better of it and is about to release a new album, End It All-where he let guest producers on his tracks for the first time.
