You've probably seen The #16 Bar Challenge sweeping your Facebook newsfeed as your friends have been tagged in and/or created video footage of them sharing their skills. I had a brief conversation with the person who helped it catch fire in the Southwest Michigan/Midwest region, Scoot Nitty. Peep what he had to say about the movement and check out some of the videos. Know of a video that should be included? Drop the link in comments section below!
Achickwitbeatz: What inspired the 16 Bar Challenge?
Scoot Nitty: My cousin in Memphis kicked it off at me and I just got it started in the Midwest now people everywhere is doing it
Achickwitbeatz: What would you like to see happen in the local artistic community now that this has gained so much traction?
Scoot Nitty: I just like the fact so many people came together and did something without beef, now it's motivates a lot of people to network with each other.
Achickwitbeatz: Can we look forward to more unifying artistic challenges coming from you in the future?
Scoot Nitty: I mean you never know, music is a feeling...I never knew the first challenge would be so big so will have to see for the future.
Achickwitbeatz: How can people connect with you?
