1925- Jimmy Scott, Singer
Jimmy Scott (July 17, 1925 in Cleveland), aka "Little" Jimmy Scott, is an American jazz vocalist. Scott has Kallmann's syndrome, a genetic condition which stunted his growth at five feet and prevented him reaching puberty, leaving him with a high, undeveloped voice, hence his nickname "Little" Jimmy Scott.
Beautiful song written by Jobim sung deliciously by Diahann Carroll. Many remember Carroll in the TV shows Dynasty and Julia, but I bet many also didn't know that she had such a fabulous voice.
The Temptations cantan en directo, en París en 1973, "Love woke me up this morning", para mi gusto su mejor canción. Canta Damon Harris, que sustituyó unos años a Eddie Kendricks. La versión en directo pierde bastante con el original del disco, que es imprescindible.
Daily Operation
PM Dawn was founded by the two brothers Attrell S. Cordes AKA Prince Be and Jarrett Cordes AKA DJ Minute Mix. Their cousin Dr. Giggles aka Doc G was added to the lineup for their 2005 comeback, right after which Jarrett was fired from the band. PM Dawn continued with Doc G replacing Jarrett.
