AudioShake Launches Real-Time Copyright Music Removal for Streaming and Live Broadcast

AudioShake has released new streaming-ready software development kits (SDKs) that allow media teams to detect and remove copyrighted music in real time. Broadcasters, sports leagues, production teams, and creators can use the tools to keep live and on-demand content compliant as copyright claims continue to rise across social and streaming platforms.

Background music captured in arenas, events, and public spaces has become one of the fastest-growing copyright risks in video. These incidents can lead to muted audio, blocked feeds, takedowns, or financial penalties. With live and short-form content accelerating across platforms, the demand for automated, real-time cleanup has increased significantly.

Real-Time Detection and Removal with NVIDIA-Optimized Performance

AudioShake’s new SDKs pair its sound separation technology with low-latency processing. The system detects copyrighted music instantly, including loud environments like stadiums, and removes it while preserving dialogue, crowd sound, and effects. Teams can also adjust speech levels or rebalance noisy mixes during fast-moving production.

AudioShake is part of NVIDIA’s startup program, NVIDIA Inception, allowing AudioShake to use NVIDIA’s "accelerated" systems to train its models and to run them quickly in the cloud. The new real-time tools are built to take advantage of NVIDIA Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) directly, which is why they can process audio so fast with low delay.

Industry Adoption and Availability

Major media companies, including leading U.S. film studios, broadcasters, BET, NFL Films, TVPuls, and ANT1 TV, already use AudioShake for dialogue isolation, music removal, and audio cleanup across their content workflows. The new real-time capability extends those applications into live broadcast environments, mobile tools, and automated compliance systems.

The SDK is now available for iOS/macOS, Android, Windows, and Linux. Developers building broadcast tools, live production systems, creator platforms, or consumer apps can integrate AudioShake to deliver clean, editable, copyright-safe audio in real time.
