Full length version of the classic Red Garland track. Recorded on November 15, 1957. Originally released as Prestige 7181. This, mono version, was taken from the John Coltrane "Side Steps" box.

Time and legions of other soul superstars have obscured the fact that for a brief moment, Mary Wells was Motown's biggest star. She came to the attention of Berry Gordy as a 17-year-old, hawking a song she'd written for Jackie Wilson; that song, "Bye Bye Baby," became her first Motown hit in 1961.
Filmed around the time of making Songs In The Key Of Life, this rare footage of Stevie Wonder's much loved song "As" captures the spirit of love and what this song is all about. I re-synced the soundtrack as the original was skipping all over the place. Enjoy!
